About the role The Business Analyst will work within the Jigsaw24 Technology team, responsible for supporting improvement and development initiatives across our core business systems. They will support the delivery of Jigsaw24’s objectives through the maturity and evolution of system features, functionality, automations, and integrations. Reporting into the Business Systems team, the Business Analyst will play a key role in the ongoing developments and enhancements to Jigsaw24’s operating model and operational processes and platforms, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams. They will be responsible for turning prioritised business requirements into efficient and scalable solutions to deliver operational efficiencies and compelling customer experiences. Key duties and responsibilities are : The Business Analyst will be responsible for defining and delivering future developments and enhancements to Jigsaw24’s business systems, as well as defining and implementing the required processes to help formalise and standardise the way that Jigsaw24 operates. Work with business stakeholders to define and prioritise enhancements to systems. Work with business stakeholders to define, capture and validate requirements, make solution recommendations, and challenge assumptions. Act as a bridge between business/operational stakeholders and technical development teams. Support product/system owners with the management of product backlogs and enhancement roadmaps – constantly developing and prioritising these to align with business needs. Identify and deliver automation and integration opportunities across business processes and system workflows, seeking operational efficiencies wherever possible. Work with technical development teams to scope and design potential system changes and solutions. Analyse proposed system changes and solutions, assessing business impacts and assessing/mitigating associated risks. Apply business analysis and project management approaches to the delivery of system, process and workflow enhancements. Support the testing and transition of new system functionalities and workflows into the business to maximise adoption and success. Support change management within the business and operational teams, helping to resolve issues and communicate progress of system and process changes. Ensure that system workflows can support/deliver efficient operational processes. Ensure that system workflows can deliver compelling customer experiences (CX). Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Working knowledge and experience of at least one of the below system capabilities, including key features, functionalities and associated business processes and workflows. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) IT Service Management (ITSM) system experience would also be desirable. Working knowledge and experience of Agile system development methodologies and tools, including Kanban and Scrum. Working knowledge and experience of process/workflow automation and system integrations (e.g. APIs). Flexible, comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, and able to adapt to the constantly evolving nature of business requirements and priorities. Collaborates and communicates effectively and can build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels. Attention to detail, but also able to uplift and simplify complexity to help educate wider stakeholders. ‘Hands-on’ by nature, comfortable with diving into problems and designing solutions. Possesses a positive “can do” and proactive attitude. Understanding of ITIL aligned Service Management processes.
