This is a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Events Host to be based at the Aerospace Customer Suite (ACS) in the Sinfin Derby Area.
This is a joint role between the Executive Services Team and the Events team. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for the daily operations of the ACS and the planning and implementation of customer visits to the Derby and Bristol sites. You will deliver exceptional customer experience for all internal and external customers visiting the corporate facilities ensuring all activities are delivered to the highest of standards. Delivering and taking responsibility for KPI’s and SLA’s, you will be able to show the following attributes whilst undertaking the role.
Specific objectives will include, but are not limited to;
General Duties
1. Working within and guiding the Executive Host team in the day to day running of the ACS, including conference facilities and lunch service
2. Ensuring a high standard of cleaning, catering and maintenance requirements are met and issues are escalated as necessary.
3. Flexibility in working hours with the possibility of evening work, should the event require.
4. Be able to operate on a flexible rota system.
5. Ability to host high profile clients with discretion and 5-star excellence.
6. Manage all logistics in support of Customer Visits
7. Fully understand and comply with client strategy, policies and procedures
8. Provide a VIP concierge service, including “meet and greet”.
9. Develop effective professional working relationships with client stakeholders at all levels within Rolls-Royce.
10. Ensure all AV/IT requirements are managed, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
11. Support emergency procedures as needed.
12. Undertake mandatory training as required for the role.
13. Work with the catering team to monitor quality, menu development and operations.
Events
14. Working across Aerospace Customer Suite and Bristol Sites- Monthly travel following successful probation period.
15. Regular travel to Bristol
16. Coordinating Customer Event Visits- Booking of meeting rooms, catering, accommodation, transport and site tours. Point of contact for visit planning and during visit, creating visit agendas and circulating to the relevant parties
17. Quality control- Maintaining high standards for customer visits across all sites, addressing all concerns and formulating improvements.
18. Site Tours- Organising site tour bookings, overseeing and facilitating site tours including PPE requirements and safety information.
19. Stakeholder management- central point of contact for visit managers, events team, catering, Executive Host team.
Operations
20. Managing the day-to-day operations of the Aerospace Customer Suite
21. Prior experience in food hygiene, COSHH and stock control
22. Safe working and speaking up to unsafe activities to maintain a compliant and safe workspace.
23. Set regular meetings with the catering team to discuss operations (what is good, what needs improvement)
24. Stock ordering and stock control
25. Ensuring maintenance issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
26. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the ACS
27. Regular communication with the Executive Host Managers and the Executive Host Team
28. Design and implement ways to improve service and the overall experience within the ACS.
