Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students Help students with tasks such as reading, writing, and understanding instructions Monitor student progress and report back to teachers and parents Supervise students during lessons and break times Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Previous experience working with children or young adults Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities Education: A Level qualifications or equivalent Experience: Experience working in a school or educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Work primarily in a classroom setting May involve some outdoor activities or off-site visits with students Potential for additional training and development opportunities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
