Job Title: Quality Engineer

Salary: £37,000 to £39,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
1. Undertaking Audits and Quality Investigations within the Naval Ships business and programmes.
2. Liaising with third party auditors such as Lloyds Register Quality Assurance and customers.
3. Driving closure and measuring effectiveness of root cause, corrective action and improvements.
4. Conducting quality investigations using root cause tools and corrective action methodologies.
5. Supporting exciting programmes with quality and assurance.
6. Stakeholder engagement at all levels of the business – this role will have exposure and an opportunity to engage all areas of the business to make a huge positive impact.
Your skills and experiences:
1. Recognised formal Internal Auditor training.
2. Experience with conducting internal audits and quality investigations.
3. Understanding of ISO9001 procedures.
4. Ship Build / Manufacturing background is desirable.
5. Ability to understand and interpret data.
