Location: HMP Erlestoke, Erlestoke House, Erlestoke, Devizes SN10 5TU
Salary: £25,739.13 per annum
Contract: Permanent, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative or Handy Person to join our team at HMP Erlestoke, a category C adult male prison in a role we call Escort / Fabric Operative.

As an Escort / Fabric Operative, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.
We are looking for a Escort / Fabric Operative with any combination of:
1. Experience of prison environment
2. Experience of use of hand and power tools
3. Previous experience of working within a building fabric / Hard FM environment
4. Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
5. Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
6. Good Health & Safety knowledge
7. Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
