Job Title: Divisional Manager – Social Housing
Location: Lincolnshire
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Company Car and Fuel Card / or Car Allowance
Client Overview:
Our client is a leading provider in the social housing sector, offering repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment services. They are currently seeking an experienced Divisional Manager to oversee their operations in Lincolnshire. This is a key leadership role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of ongoing contracts and meeting performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of social housing repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment contracts across Lincolnshire. Ensure all work is carried out efficiently, from initial job instruction to completion.
* Monitor Performance: Track the division's performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure set targets are met, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
* Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality service. Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the team meets company standards.
* Client Relationships: Work closely with clients to build and maintain strong, positive relationships.
* Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to all relevant safety, quality, and compliance regulations.
* Financial Management: Oversee the budget for the division, managing costs effectively to meet financial targets.
* Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management on the division’s performance, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
Skills & Experience Required:
* SMSTS
* Proven experience in managing social housing contracts.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
* Ability to monitor performance against KPIs and adjust strategies to meet targets.
* Knowledge of relevant safety, compliance, and quality standards.
* Financially astute with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
