So if you’re passionate about what you do, we want to hear from you Salary – £30,000 - £33,000 Hours – 40 Hours per week, Monday – Friday (Occasional out of hours on call) Full clean UK driving license required Salary to be discussed at interview based on experience Your duties as a Maintenance Supervisor: Oversee and manage planned and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring all tasks meet high-quality standards and adhere to health and safety regulations. Conduct daily team meetings to plan and prioritize maintenance work based on operational needs and site updates. Supervise and support the Maintenance Operatives, ensuring timely completion of all tasks and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures. Perform regular internal site audits, identify necessary actions, and resolve issues promptly. Manage stock levels, ensuring adequate supplies while avoiding unnecessary surplus. Coordinate with contractors, ensuring all works are carried out safely, within budget, and to schedule. Complete general repairs, minor upgrade works, and routine PPM tasks, such as plumbing, electrical repairs, decoration, and grounds keeping. Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for everyone on-site, including staff, visitors, and those in care. Collaborate with the Senior Management Team and participate in operational meetings to ensure smooth service delivery. Experience and Skills required: Experience: Proven experience in the building trade, estate management, or a similar maintenance role. Experience in supervising and managing a team, including scheduling and monitoring tasks. Familiarity with managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions. Experience working in demanding environments with multiple priorities and deadlines. Knowledge of conducting inspections and managing statutory testing and recording requirements. Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time well to meet targets and deadlines. Proficient in IT, including the use of facilities management systems. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, and management. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing environments and demands. A clear understanding of working within a mental health environment and the associated risks. Why Cygnet?
