Project Manager, Professional Services
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and implement our Professional Services program. This role is focused on defining processes, implementing tools, managing resources, and delivering projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in test automation with exceptional project management and client engagement skills.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
* Developing and managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for the Professional Services program.
* Defining clear project scopes, objectives, and success metrics aligned with client goals.
* Leading project kickoff meetings and ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
* Continuously improving processes to enhance program efficiency and outcomes.
* Partnering with Customer Success Managers to align project goals with client expectations.
* Ensuring proactive communication about project progress, milestones, and deliverables to the customer success team.
* Working closely with Customer Success Managers to address client needs, resolve escalations, and drive satisfaction in the project.
Tooling and Documentation:
* Identifying, implementing, and maintaining tools and technologies to support the Professional Services program.
* Creating and managing comprehensive documentation, including program playbooks, best practices, and client-facing resources.
* Ensuring that tooling and documentation align with program goals and meet the needs of internal teams and clients.
Resource Management:
* Allocating and managing resources across multiple projects to ensure optimal utilization.
* Identifying staffing needs, recruiting team members, and facilitating onboarding and training.
* Monitoring team performance and addressing capacity challenges proactively.
* Identifying and mitigating project risks through proactive planning and communication.
* Monitoring program performance using KPIs and providing regular status reports to leadership.
* Driving accountability within the team to meet deadlines and achieve high-quality outcomes.
You'll Have:
* 7+ years of experience in project management or professional services, with at least 3 years leading teams or programs.
* Proven expertise in managing test automation projects, preferably with Salesforce ecosystems.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar).
* Experience implementing and maintaining Professional Services tools and processes.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with test automation tools and integration into client environments. - Experience with resource forecasting and capacity planning.
