The right candidate will be supporting various classes across the school, giving you experience to build lots of relationships and learn a variety of skills within education. Your Basic Requirements
* Relevant experience working with children or young people
* 2 professional references to reference your recent work with SEN children
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to make one
* Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
* Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher
* Ability to assist teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment for children with social, emotional and mental health needs

Your Main Responsibilities
* Work on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have Special Educational Needs
* Lesson/work planning for the students you are working with
* Utilise learning schemes in order to progress your student's learning
* Report back to parents and teachers regarding the students progress
* Supporting children's physical, social and emotional well-being
* Completion of daily records for pupils
* Classroom preparation for the following school day
