The Business Change Manager will proactively prepare the In-Service Submarines portfolio for the impact of the changes required for AUKUS and Dreadnought transitions. The post holder will provide a bridge between acquisition programmes and In-Service Submarine functions to ensure that activities are planned and completed to enable the Submarine Directorate to implement the agreed changes and realise benefits.
The post holder will manage one HEO Project Support Officer. Together they will provide expert business change support to the Head of Business Change to drive the delivery of change for the safe transition to new classes of submarines.
This is a complex, high risk operating environment, with a high number of interfaces across multiple organisations, presenting an opportunity for the post holder to demonstrate business change capability at the highest level. The post holder will have regular interactions across the whole Directorate and beyond, at all levels and will therefore require outstanding communication skills and an ability to operate seamlessly across military, civilian, and industrial partner engagements.
The post will be based in HMNB Clyde, NCHQ Portsmouth or Main Building London, with the expectation of regular travel between sites and occasional travel to other sites.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
