As a vital member of our team, you will take on the crucial responsibility of investigating vacant properties that are consuming water without an active water account. We are looking for individuals who possess a keen eye for detail and an exceptional ability to analyse information. You will need to compile strong and comprehensive evidence packs that will facilitate correct occupancy and billing processes. Your role will also involve proactive engagement with customers through both email correspondence and outbound calls. We value a "Right First-Time" approach, ensuring that each interaction is accurate and effective. WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE? · Creating an account for customers when they move into a business premise and tailor the account to meet their needs. · Validating data from various sources and identifying the correct customer responsible for a business premise. · Making positive outbound contact via phone followed up with email where appropriate with a customer to confirm details and source any additional information required for an account to be set up. · Investigating complex queries regarding whether a business premise is occupied, or vacant and provide robust evidence. · Processing customer correspondence in relation to occupying a business premise and taking the appropriate action. · Finding and examining all available data sources to locate a customer in a business premise that reports as consuming but is marked as vacant. · Cleansing internal systems to ensure the data is accurate and aligning this data to the central market databases. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? · Experience in collating and understanding data from numerous sources. · Experience of making outbound contact via telephone and email. · Keen eye for detail and a focus on data accuracy. · Inquisitive nature and questioning skills. · Experience in the utilities industry, specifically Water. · Fully computer literate with Microsoft Office products, Excel level must be intermediate as a minimum. · Problem solving ability with a personal drive to search out the correct information and resolve issues. · Strong team player with a can-do attitude and professional manner · Excellent communicator · Able to work under own initiative.
