About the Role
The successful candidate will join the business administration department in the Exeter office on a full-time basis. This is distinctly different from a legal secretarial position, focusing instead on the operational aspects of the business. You'll be working with a small, friendly team dedicated to ensuring colleagues have everything they need to work effectively while supporting the firm's regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Business Administrator Responsibilities:
* Maintain comprehensive records related to compliance requirements
* Provide first-line IT support to colleagues across the firm
* Coordinate and arrange staff training programs as needed
* Support marketing initiatives across the firm's website, social media platforms, and third-party advertising channels
* Organise staff social functions including both annual events and impromptu gatherings
* Manage the purchasing and cost control of stationery and merchandise
* Assist with office space planning, including staff and departmental seating arrangements
* Support the Head of Compliance and Resources with additional administrative tasks as required
Business Administrator Requirements:

* Strong telephone manner and excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Fundamental IT knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
* Superior organisational capabilities and attention to detail

* Previous experience in a professional office environment (preferred)
