Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver comprehensive, goals-based financial planning and wealth strategies, including client needs assessment.
2. Stay updated on the firm’s latest planning tools, techniques, and strategies.
3. Build and maintain relationships with management, and inform them of circumstances needing supervisory review in compliance with policies.
4. Source prospective clients and leverage referrals.
5. Provide customized solutions utilizing the full resources of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
6. Understand and develop all aspects of a successful practice; complete necessary training and development.
Required Skills:
1. FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) registrations required, with 5+ years of experience.
2. Established, portable practice with at least $1MM in production.
3. Experience managing client portfolios and driving growth.
4. Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
Desired Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
2. Proven ability to generate leads and partner effectively.
3. Experience balancing investment management, sales, and new client development.
4. Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC are a plus.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Highly entrepreneurial mindset.
