Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire We are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager on a permanent basis.
Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Manage budgets and financial aspects in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor, including contracts and reporting.
Oversee quality assurance, safety compliance, and conduct site inspections.
Collaborate with Tier 1 contractors to align with project goals and timelines.
Monitor contractor performance and address issues promptly.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and procurement processes.
Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
Strong understanding of CAPEX procurement practices and contract negotiation
Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, project management software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
