A little about myself:
I am a young boy, and I live with my Mammy, Daddy and brother. I am a happy, funny and smiley boy who really enjoys listening to and watching shows on the television. My favourite show is Friends, and my favourite part of this show is the theme tune and when they laugh. I really enjoy staying at home as this is where I feel the most comfortable.
I have complex medical needs, including epilepsy and being PEG fed. Due to my epilepsy I always need to be closely supervised as I could have a seizure and require support for this. I communicate well by using facial expressions. I use facial expressions to let my family know if I really like something or if something is really annoying me. I would like someone to spend time with me to understand the way I use these facial expressions to communicate. My Mammy would really like someone to spend time with before we are left alone at the home, that way Mammy will know I am safe.

Essential:
I need you to:
• I would like someone who can sit with me and keep me company at home when my Mammy and Daddy go out to spend quality time together.
• Due to my epilepsy, it is important for me to be closely supervised as I could have a seizure and require support around this.
• I would like someone to support me with my personal care such as changing my nappies.
• I would like someone to talk to me whilst we watch TV shows. For example, when watching Friends and Ross does something silly you can say ‘oh no silly Ross’. I like it when my Mammy and Daddy do this because I find it funny when others get shouted at.
• It is important to me and my family that you build trust with us so when Mammy and Daddy go out, they know that I am safe.
