On Rotation - Week 1 - 6am to 2.30pm (Mon-Fri)
Week 2 - 1.30pm to 10.00pm (Mon-Thurs) 12.00pm to 8.30pm (Friday)
As Electrician, your role will be to carry out any plant upgrades and improvements during shut down hours, as well as regular PPM’s and cleaning schedules.
You will also be involved with breakdowns and the replacement of parts as required and be available for the plant start-up in the morning by offering electrical and mechanical support.
This is a very fast-moving, fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work independently under tight deadlines and with a passion to help improve the plant overall. Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
Although this is an electrical role, there will be a need to assist and be involved with the mechanical side of the plant and team during breakdowns and improvements as required for the needs of the business, so an understanding and ability to work on the mechanical side is essential.
To fulfil this role, the job holder should demonstrate the following:
* Level 3 Electrical qualification or experience in electrical maintenance.
* Experience working on Siemens and ABB Inverters, Siemens PLC’s, and 24V DC control circuits, emergency stop circuits, and 415 motors.
* Ability to work through electrical drawings and main plant control panels.
* Experience with Inspection and testing 2391 (a benefit but not essential).
* Trained to the latest 18th edition wiring regulations (a benefit but not essential).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to be flexible in approach and attitude.
* Self-motivated.
* Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures.
* The ability to work alone and in a team.
The job will suit someone who has worked as an Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or Site Electrician.
