We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to work for our highly respected and rapidly growing client based in Sharpness.
This role has become available due to their fast expansion on their current premises.
Job Duties:
* Proactively manage all Warehouse Employees ensuring all tasks are carried out safely.
* Manage and be accountable for all incidents and accidents, ensuring they are fully investigated and incident reports prepared.
* Manage and be accountable for all Warehouse Employees on a daily basis within the operation, including the overall management of the working patterns and attendance.
* Review the working patterns on a regular basis to ensure that the Company is getting the best possible utilisation of Warehouse labour; includes Full Time and Agency Warehouse Labour.
* Work with the Senior Warehouse Manager, Operations Director and HR Business Partner (TC Group), to recruit people with the relevant skills, qualifications and attributes to the business.
* Drive up employee engagement through effective day to day management of our people and ensuring that people are kept informed of what is happening in the business.
* In conjunction with Senior Warehouse Manager and Operations Director prepare forecasts, budgets and financial plans for the Warehouse Operation.
* Monitor and control the operating budget to ensure that all resources are deployed effectively and ensuring it is running at optimal operational efficiency.
* Authorise and sign off on all transport and warehouse invoices.
* Plan the input of all goods received on a daily basis.
* Follow up action on any customer complaints involving warehouse personnel or operations.
* Manage the relationship with the Landlord and other neighbours, and community groups.
* Manage the relationship with the Sales Order Processing Team, Sales Managers and Supply Chain Team to ensure communication and actions are maintained.
Requirements:
* Previous management experience within a Warehouse Operational environment.
* Thorough understanding of health and safety requirements.
* Experience of working with and managing budgets.
* People Management skills.
Pay:
* £32,000pa + 25% uplift for un-sociable hours.
Shift:
* Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 – 06:00.
