The RME Co-ordinator will have the ability to work with team members and other service technicians, design solutions for difficult problems, manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet timelines. Develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.
Key job responsibilities:
1. Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical.
2. Develop training plans for service technicians.
3. Develop Preventive Maintenance programs.
4. Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials.
5. Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
6. PLC programs, ability to troubleshoot ladder logic (read use for troubleshooting), components (CPU back planes, I/O boards, counters, modules, and devices) and communications modules (Ethernet).
7. Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals.
8. Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization.
9. Ability to provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical.
• Ability to work all days and shifts, including overtime (24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation, including holidays).
Experience and proficiency in the following areas:
1. Automated conveyor systems and controls.
2. Electrical and electronic principles.
3. Blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
4. Knowledge of CMMS programs.
5. Preventative maintenance procedures.
6. Industrial electrical.
7. Industrial controls.
8. Industrial Electronics.
9. PLC programs.
10. Industrial PC literacy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree/Diploma in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 4/5 years experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• Able to manage, lead, and influence others on the team.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
• Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric.
• Leadership experience/aptitude, ability to mentor and develop training plans for other service technicians.
