The role will be called an Account Director - that will be your job title however this is a Strategic New Business role. What will you do?Key responsibilities for this job:Develop and execute short, medium and long term business plans to exceed targetsAchieve and exceed margin, contract value, and revenue targetsDeliver against key performance indicators and objectivesProspect, qualify, negotiate and close key new business dealsBuild and maintain a solid and robustly qualified pipeline of salesForecast monthly and quarterly sales achievementMaintain opportunity pipeline and deal positions on CRM (Salesforce)Develop strategy, produce win-plans and execute on major dealsDefine target list and engage suspects based on clearly defined criteriaCarry out and record target prospect meetings in line with agreed KPIsDevelop an in-depth knowledge of the factors impacting the technology market, adoption and trends for assigned verticalsGenerate strong relationships with senior executives within customer and prospect baseDevelop and sustain network of contacts and key individuals within assigned verticals and target market arenaWhat do we want?Experience in already selling to the PUBLIC SECTOR will be super helpful - could be any solution within tech Software Sales is a little less complex, so Managed IT Services and solution based tech is a MUST for this role We are after intelligent and driven people; you will earn at least a minimum of 6 figures from experience in the teamThis truly is an amazing opportunity and so exciting for someone The salary range is large, £40k-£70k basic however this is because we are willing for someone to grow into the role OR if you are already a senior business development director then we will offer you the higher range.
