Planning & Highways Lawyer
Location: East Midlands
Rate: £55 - 60 per hour (umbrella/interim)
Working: Remote work
A highly reputable Local Authority in the South East is seeking a Planning & Highways Lawyer to join their friendly team on an initial 3 - 6 Month period with the view for extension.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planning & Highways Lawyer to join a supportive team 4-5 days per week. It is a remote working role in its entirety.
The Planning & Highways Lawyer role
Key duties of the Planning Lawyer will include;
* Drafting s106 agreements of varying complexities, including for appeals
* Drafting strategic s106 agreements for major developments
* Drafting s278 & s38 agreements and highway licences
* Providing general planning and highways advice on various matters
About You
The organisation is looking to hire a Planning & highways Lawyer who demonstrates:
* The ability to work autonomously on your own matters
* Strong planning experience
* Local authority experience is preferable however our client is happy to consider private practice and public sector
