Description This role will allow someone with experience in education data make a real difference to the lives of young people in Cornwall as they make the transition to post-16 Education, Employment and Training. The Service & Team: An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Education Performance Data Team as a Performance Data Analyst, Grade 3, on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role: The role will involve supporting operational and business support colleagues in the analysis of the Client Caseload Information System (CCIS) data for youth services, which identifies young people from 16-18, or 25 with Special Educational Needs, with no active education or training placements, as well as dealing with those whose destination is unknown. The postholder will assist with the development of reporting specifications as well as working on the NCCIS statutory return, the September Guarantee, the Intended Destinations and performance reporting through a high level of Microsoft Excel skills. It will also involve liaising with the Careers Hub around data on the courses that are being studied by Cornwall's children and young people, developing a good understanding the KS4 to Post 16 transition, the FE sector and KS5 assessment systems. To be successful in this role, you would have the ability to manage a demanding and varied workload, have good analytical skills and produce accurate work in a timely manner. This position will be subject to a standard criminal record disclosure check. Working Pattern: This is a full-time, 37hr role that has flexible working options available, such as compressed hours, fully-remote or hybrid work arrangements, however the successful candidate must be able to attend meetings in Cornwall as required.
