Legal Contracts Manager - Part-Time

A Legal Contracts Manager is required to join a Software and consultancy business on a Part-time basis permanently for 2 or 3 days per week. This is a newly created role working closely with the Operations Manager as their first legal hire.
About the Company
The company's client base is growing quickly, securing large-scale customers both in the UK and globally. The company provides automation products on a subscription basis through Microsoft 365 and also provides a consultancy service to its clients.
The Legal Contracts Manager role
The successful Legal Contracts Manager will be:
* Assisting the Operations Manager with general commercial contracts for the business
* Responding to challenges to the company's terms of conditions
* Reviewing and responding to requests for clarification and revision on standard agreements
* Reviewing and amending Terms of Business
* Handling challenges to DPA from customers
* Developing and implementing a structured playbook and response matrix
* Conducting compliance-led project work
Qualifications
The successful Legal Contracts Manager will have:
* Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
* Experience of dealing with challenges to the company's contracts
* Understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations would be advantageous
