The Operational Services team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. As a GIS Analyst, you will digitise network data meeting data quality standards and ensuring compliance. You will identify and suggest improvements to systems and process and to assist in projects relating to improvements and the use of mapping data. Working with Operational Leads, across multiple functions to build accurate and efficient Grounds Maintenance plans. Where you fit in: As our GIS Analyst you will: Work with Vendor Managers and the Grounds Maintenance Manager to ensure effect plan delivery. Digitise new or existing Grounds Maintenance information received from Yorkshire Water and service partners within agreed timescales, targets and meet legislation requirements. Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes to collect and maintain data; and work with Partners and YW Colleagues to implement them. Comply with processes and procedure to meet applicable standards e.g. ISO9001 and Legal requirements Ensure partners comply with company policies and follow agreed processes and procedures so that all data populated and digitised complies with data quality standards and contract specifications. Assist in the development and application of new systems and software and carry out user acceptance testing. Support business and tech projects where mapping data is required / used. Provide data support to the reporting analyst to ensure any regular or adhoc reports are accurate. Support the data stewards with any root cause analysis on processes or data quality reports. What skills & qualifications you will need: Experience of working with Data with a proficiency with Microsoft office applications, and a proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ability to absorb complex technical information and communicate effectively to all levels, both technical and non-technical audiences. Be highly motivated and self-reliant with a personal drive for continuous development and demonstrates a strong customer service ethos. A focussed attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. The ability to develop and work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with strong organisation and personal management skills. Possess a strong sense of purpose and proactively seek responsibility and ownership. Creativity and lateral thinking experience along with high standards of integrity & ethics.
