Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Manager, Portfolio Strategy - Global Strategic Marketing, J&J MedTech Surgery (Wound Closure and Biosurgery) to join our MedTech Surgery business located at our Raritan, NJ site, with alternate site locations considered at the hiring manager's discretion.
Duration: This position is a limited duration role for 2 years.
Position Overview:
As the Manager of Portfolio Strategy within our Global Strategic Marketing team for Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery, you will play a dynamic and critical role in driving the evolution of our portfolios. You will collaborate cross-functionally to shape and execute strategies aligned with local market needs while leveraging global capabilities. Your ability to connect with diverse teams will ensure the effective implementation of portfolio initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with regional and country leaders to support the development and implementation of market transition strategies that align with global portfolio optimization efforts.
* Market Insight and Strategy Development: Educate and partner with local markets to adapt global strategies to fit specific regional dynamics, ensuring our offerings meet the needs of customers.
* Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with supply chain and commercial teams to establish accurate demand forecasts and facilitate effective capacity planning for product launches.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, including R&D, supply chain, and regulatory teams, to drive code creation, product registration, and launch strategies.
* Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and update program documentation and performance metrics, providing insights and reports to stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
* Communication and Reporting: Synthesize complex data and insights into compelling narratives, effectively communicating project's progress and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive initiatives to enhance execution capabilities across the portfolio by leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
* 6+ years of progressive business experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on marketing, strategy, or project management.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a matrix organization while collaborating effectively with various teams.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the capability to translate insights into actionable plans.
* Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
* Familiarity with Wound Closure and/or Biosurgery products is preferred.
* Experience with project management methodologies, along with certification in Six Sigma or Process Excellence, is a plus.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management software tools.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
* Flexibility to work non-traditional hours to support global markets as needed.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $172,500.
