We are looking for a dedicated Equine Receptionist to join our well-respected 7 Vet equine practice situated in the Essex countryside, close to London.
Duties will include:
* Responding to and managing incoming telephone inquiries
* Scheduling and coordinating client appointments
* Overseeing and maintaining the appointment diary
* Managing patient admissions and onboarding
* Preparing cost estimates for client services and appointments
* Handling client correspondence and communications
* Coordinating and booking client referrals
* Ordering and dispensing medication for client collection
* Organizing logistical support for veterinary equipment for appointments and Brook Farm
* Preparing and issuing import certificates
* Managing outgoing mail and placing stationery orders
* Updating and maintaining the Eclipse management system
The perfect fit
We are seeking a candidate with excellent customer service skills, who can demonstrate empathy and manage sensitive situations effectively. Experience in a customer-facing role, whether in person or over the phone, is an advantage. You should be passionate about supporting both people and animals, possess strong IT skills, and have the ability to record data with precision. Attention to detail and being a team player are key qualities. While knowledge of the veterinary industry is a plus, it is not required.
You will join the team on a part-time basis, working 6 hours per day, preferably Monday-Friday 9 am – 3 pm.
The salary for this role is up to £26,000 pro-rata.
