Teacher of Maths - the role:
1. Deliver inspirational and well-structured lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 for the right candidate.
2. Engage and challenge students of all abilities, ensuring progress through differentiated teaching.
3. Use formative and summative assessments effectively to track student performance and adapt teaching strategies.
4. Contribute to intervention programmes, revision sessions, and Maths clubs to support pupil progress.
5. Collaborate with the high-performing Maths department to share best practices and develop the curriculum.
6. Participate in whole-school initiatives, such as STEM events, competitions, and enrichment activities.
Teacher of Maths - requirements:
1. UK QTS
2. Undergraduate degree in Maths or a related field
3. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make Maths accessible and exciting
4. A passion for teaching and the drive to help every student succeed
5. Experience teaching GCSE Maths (A-Level experience desirable but not essential)
6. Excellent behaviour management and the ability to create a positive learning environment
