Who You Are As a Fleet Workshop Assistant, you are self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working as part of a team. You possess basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, and hold a full EU driving license (category C) with an LGV license. You are committed to maintaining high standards of driving and have experience in manual work, understanding of safe working procedures, and health and safety legislation. You can communicate effectively in English, with Welsh being an added advantage. What the Job Involves This role involves ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the fleet workshop and the vehicles. You will undertake general maintenance duties, support drivers in maintaining vehicles, and ensure equipment is correctly maintained and stored. Additional responsibilities include washing vehicles, maintaining cleanliness in the yard, assisting technicians, delivering and collecting vehicle parts, managing internal stock, and engaging in ongoing training. You are also responsible for establishing good working relationships, adhering to policies and procedures, and complying with health and safety practices.
