Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning
2. Conducts field walks to identify and document job requirements
3. Identifies specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work
4. Makes safety procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures available to employees; ensures that all aspects of the existing company safety policy are incorporated into the job plan
5. Estimates required hours on work order tasks, total work order duration, and skills required to perform the task
6. Plans jobs with appropriate level of detail for the given skilled trades workforce
7. Procures equipment and specialized tools required to perform work
8. Gathers necessary engineering or technical documents, specifications, and drawings
9. Determines and arranges for parts required to perform the work
10. Compile’s information into a job package that is ready for skilled trades
11. Keeps bills of materials current
12. Accurately measures the maintenance backlog in its various forms
13. Ensures all work orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished
14. Participates in outage planning activities such as scope identification and control, scheduling, coordination, risk assessment, execution, and continuous improvement
15. Participates with Reliability Department personnel on improvement projects, particularly when they are related to the proactive maintenance plan (CBM and PM)
16. Compiles and delivers reports from CMMS (EAM) regarding the work execution management process
17. Acts as the liaison between operations, maintenance, engineering, planning, and contractors with regard to the development of the weekly maintenance work schedule
18. Participates in the scheduling process, attends scheduling meetings in order to communicate backlog and priorities, and compiles the information into the weekly skilled trades work schedule
19. Measures and takes actions to ensure the highest possible resource utilization in developing the weekly work schedule
20. Measures and reports on schedule compliance on a weekly basis – constantly seeking new ways to improve schedule compliance and wrench time
21. Communicates with maintenance supervisors on schedule changes and daily coordination issues
22. Documents and publishes the weekly work schedule following the scheduling meeting
23. Oversees the scheduling of proactive work to include predictive and preventive work and notifies the management team of shortcomings in the execution of these tasks; measures and reports PdM and PM completion percentages on a regular schedule.
Dimensions of role: You will have regular contact with all levels within the maintenance department such as but not limited to; Asset Reliability Manager, Asset reliability Lead, Lead technician, Engineering Managers, supervisors, technicians and apprentices.
You will also be expected to be able to liaise with operations personnel of all levels to provide outage planning knowledge.
You will also be able to organise and lead contractors in their activities.

Knowledge and experience:
24. Understanding and experience of EHS and quality requirements in a maintenance/manufacturing environment.
25. Contractor control and responsible person
26. Communicate clearly and effectively with shop floor personnel, vendors, OEM suppliers, and management personnel
27. Strong understanding of maintaining a wide range of manufacturing equipment and ancillary.
28. Able to demonstrate decision making under pressure.
29. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
30. IT skills (SAP, Excel, word, emails, calendars, Microsoft project)
31. Ability to coach and advise a variety of cross-functional team members
32. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
33. Excellent organisational and follow-up skills
34. Competent in problem solving, planning and decision making
35. Self-directing – able to work towards specific goals and objectives with limited daily oversight.

Operating Environments
36. Operating in a 50 / 50 split role, 50% scheduling at the desk and 50% out around plant planning jobs.
37. Operating in a self-structured environment completing the maintenance schedule.
38. With sound reasoning, deviating from the schedule in accordance with priorities such as offering breakdown support.
39. Effective and efficient breakdown repairs in accordance with the plant priorities.
40. Total flexible working regarding all Bournville processes and offsite functions where the Mondelez facilitate support.
41. Liaise with manufacturing personnel regarding plant release, downtime estimation, plant hand backs and alternative/compromise solutions.
42. Offer engineering support/expertise.
Job Challenges
43. The ability to work calmly under pressure, make decisions and ensure good communications at all times are essential.
44. The diverse nature of the equipment can not only be technically demanding but also requires a fully flexible outlook. Maintainers can deviate from working on heavy industrial plant to installation work in an office block.
Framework and Boundaries
45. The applicant will be required to adhere to all Bournville EHS procedures. The use and/or formulation of method statements and risk assessments are minimum expectations.
46. Follow established company policies.
47. A professional approach and manner with fellow employees, contractors and visitors must be maintained at all times.
48. Any work undertaken must not be detrimental to process or ancillary equipment in terms of EHS, Quality, Machine Reliability and Operational Throughput.
Organisation
49. The job holder reports directly to the Asset Reliability Lead.
What you will bring:
50. 3 years industrial maintenance experience
51. SAP PM experience
52. Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
53. Some level of supervisory experience is desirable
