About the Role:
This unique, part-time opportunity located in Winton, Southland, will suit someone who has a passion for the agricultural industry, specifically proactively facilitating and supporting the Southern Sky Dairies Portfolio. Experience in business accounts, budgeting, and reporting will prove very useful in this role. Relevant tertiary qualifications in administration will support the applicant’s experience. This position is a critical link between the office and farm, providing an essential pathway to our grassroots farmers as well as reporting to our clients.
The Operations Coordinator supports the business by understanding how the business links as a whole in order to effectively delegate and monitor activities, offering support and linking communications between the Investment Managers, Ops Managers, Consultants, Ops Coordinators, Farm Managers, and the wider corporate team.
Key Aspects of the Role:
* Monitoring the business financials including cash flows, budgeting, and reporting.
* Creating annual budgets for the farming businesses.
* Working closely with the Investment Managers and Farm Managers and providing support where required.
* Compliance including Health and Safety, Environment, and Sustainability.
* Coordination of staff activity related to Lean Management and other training and development requirements.
* Actively contributing to On-Farm Operational Excellence.
* Assisting with recruitment for farms as required.
About the Company:
FarmRight Limited is a growing farm investment management and consultancy company specialising in the dairy farming industry, with recent expansion into horticulture. We currently manage 56 farms across New Zealand on behalf of a range of investors or clients. FarmRight Corporate has a staff of 58 and is involved in the management of approximately 350 farming staff.
