£18,000-£23000 Per annum Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications
The role and school
Starting Sept 2024, as a HLTA you should be highly skilled and have good knowledge of specific aspects of the curriculum. You will be responsible for providing a high level of support to the class which is in your care. Being flexible in your work is expected as you will be working across EY, KS1 and KS2. Not only should you be confident working 1:1 and in small groups but you will also play a vital role in ensuring that the pupils comprehensively understand the work set. Other responsibilities may include covering classes, PPA and planning and teaching your own lessons. The school, located in Chadderton, Oldham, provides exciting learning experiences for their pupils and are keen to develop authentic learning experiences which ultimately, lead to achievement for all. This school is led by a dynamic and supportive senior leadership team and provides lots of opportunities for professional development.
Requirements
To be considered for the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant position, you will need as a minimum:
1. Can provide observation, assessment and be able to feedback to Class Teacher.
2. Hold a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant Certificate
3. Have experience of the national curriculum, phonics, and an educational setting.
4. Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching.
