Our client is seeking a Legal Secretary with experience in Family Law to provide support to their busy Family Law team. Key Responsibilities: Provide secretarial and administrative support to family law solicitors and other legal professionals. Draft and prepare family law-related documents such as divorce petitions, child custody agreements, prenuptial agreements, and court bundles. Manage and organise case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible. Liaise with clients and third parties, managing communication and ensuring a high level of client care. Arrange meetings, appointments, and court hearings for the team, ensuring all parties are well informed. Assist in the preparation of legal documents for family law cases, including the preparation of statements and court applications. Handle client enquiries, managing a professional and empathetic response. Maintain accurate billing and time-keeping records for legal staff. Support with other administrative duties as required. Experience and Skills Requirements Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in Family Law, is highly desirable. Knowledge of family law processes, terminology, and documentation. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy when drafting and proofreading legal documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information with discretion.
