Role Overview
As a Sales Team Leader, you will lead by example - coaching and mentoring a team of sales professionals while actively selling our Rent-to-Buy EV products to taxi and ride-hailing drivers. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring team targets are met, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Whilst there is a face-to-face element, this is primarily a phone-base role, so a proven and successful background in for example, telemarketing or telesales, is essential.
We are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of high performance in a competitive sales environment and experience in converting warm leads into loyal customers.
***This is an in-office role and we are based in West London (Acton)***
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Leadership – Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, driving them to exceed sales targets.
* Coaching & Training – Support and develop the sales team, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
* Sales & Customer Acquisition – Convert warm leads into sales by building relationships with ride-hailing drivers and guiding them through our Rent-to-Buy process.
* Performance Management – Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and strategies for improvement.
* Customer Engagement – Respond to inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, and web chat.
* Follow-Ups – Conduct consistent follow-ups on new and past leads to maximize conversion rates.
* EV Education & Support – Explain key contract terms and provide basic EV training to help drivers transition from traditional vehicles.
* Sales Reporting – Track team performance and report to the Head of Sales with insights and recommendations.
* Collaboration – Work closely with marketing and operations teams to optimize the customer journey and sales process.
