Job Description
Bespoke Guardians is seeking emergency on call staff for roles supporting children on a banking Zero Hour contract. This is an occupational requirement due to the nature of the role and the specific requirements of the children being supported. Supporting vulnerable and complex children/young adults in a range of locations – in and out of their home.
Current locations covered are West Sussex, East Sussex, North Somerset, South Somerset, and Swindon.
About the job role as a Support Worker:
As a Support Worker, you will be key in helping our young people with everyday living. The young persons have experienced significant abuse and trauma in their early lives. This is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results on the young people in our care. Your ambition for the people you support will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential.

Salary and Benefits:
* 12-hour shifts (day and waking nights)

* The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively when talking to people and their families.
* Great problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt and act accordingly to situations.
* Good time management skills to be able to support the needs of multiple people.
* The ability to keep up with changing standards and codes of conduct in the social care sector.
* The ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
* A high level of patience and emotional resilience.
* Being empathetic towards everyone.
* Great verbal and written communication skills.
* A non-judgemental attitude regardless of a person’s needs.
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging situations.
* Forward-thinking with a flexible approach.
* Able to follow instruction & direction.
* Full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle.
* Flexibility on travel.
* Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be offered to the right candidates.
