Production Engineer
Orion Recruitment are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join a well-established, progressive and international manufacturing business, to strengthen their production assembly team and work with the engineering departments across the business.
The business provides world-class engineering support and products to industry leaders within the aerospace, automotive, and medical sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Experience in assembling complex mechanical assemblies.
2. Experience in optimising processes and procedures to improve output.
3. Ideally capable of designing jigs and fixtures.
4. High-level soldering skills ideally to IPC standard.
5. Experienced in cable assemblies, harnesses, and wiring looms ideally to IPC standard.
6. Experienced at electrical testing and fault finding.
7. Understanding technical drawings.
8. Skilled in Lean practices and implementing them.
9. Excellent IT skills.
10. Experience in mentoring/coaching assembly operators and providing training.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40-hour week.

3. Hands-on and engineering mindset.
4. High levels of attention to detail.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum requirements: NVQ / City and Guilds Level 3 / Full apprenticeship in an Engineering discipline.
