Job Title: Goods Receiving Specialist
Salary: Circa £35,000 Depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Displaying a proactive customer focused attitude that aids the delivery of the Goods Receiving and Logistics SLAs and KPIs. This includes having a wider business appreciation for other departments and their key pressures and goals.
* Using Oracle to maintain and improve key processes within the Logistics department. This includes liaison across the whole Logistics team and customer base to understand and suggest enhancements to daily activities.
* Display a vision for improvement opportunities and appropriately suggest, engage, plan and deliver such opportunities, e.g., Oracle upgrades, Site Transformation.
* Effectively able to perform a diverse range of activities across Logistics but with a specialism for Goods Receiving to support the continuous improvement of the department in line with objectives.
* Provide subject matter expert advice to the team and business by displaying knowledge and resolutions to challenges within the boundaries of the agreed Goods Receiving processes.
* Engage the wider Goods Receiving Team with continuous improvement, troubleshooting and wider business requirements and queries while providing an excellent level of Customer Service.
Your skills and experiences:
* Proven customer service experience, used to fast pace working environment.
* Exposure to a Logistics environment.
* Ability to prioritise your work and meet tight deadlines.
* Systems experience - strong Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
* Oracle ERP advantageous.
* Manufacturing background.
The Logistics Team:
As a Goods Receiving Specialist for the Logistics Team you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of service level agreements, and maintenance and improvement of current processes and procedures. You will interface with internal teams and functions to meet the requirements of the business.
