Are you looking for a new and exciting role? We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our Paediatric Dietetic Team at East Sussex Healthcare Trust. This is an exciting and innovative post working within paediatrics between primary and secondary care across East Sussex.
The successful candidate will support the paediatric dietetic team, with our existing paediatric dietetic assistants, across a varied paediatric caseload that covers a variety of clinical conditions.
The paediatric team forms part of our close knit and supportive Dietetic Department that includes over 40 clinicians and associated staff, supporting the specialities of paediatrics, diabetes, intensive care, inpatients, acute rehabilitation, general outpatients and community nutrition support. The department is also supported by our Primary Care Network (PCN) dietitians and we are also excited to be welcome our first Trainee Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Dietitians (Oncology and Integrated Discharge Team) into the team in 2023.
We are vibrant and thriving department that continually engages with new research and technology. We utilise globally renowned guest speakers to deliver training and utilise a paperless patient records system. The use of social media allows us to regularly share and celebrate our teams achievements (see @ESHTDietitians). In addition to this, the team promotes and values a strong focus on the health and wellbeing of our staff through social events and activities.
Upon your successful appointment, you will join our existing paediatric dietetic assistants to support the delivery of group sessions, face to face and virtual clinics, supervised by the paediatric dietitians. You’ll play a key role in developing new resources and support the improvement of the dietetics service for patients.
