Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid model of working.
Job Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Process invoices and payments; reconcile supplier statements.
* Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
* Support month-end reporting and account reconciliation.
* Process staff expenses and ensure compliance with policies.
* Assist with audit preparation and provide administrative support.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful for the Accounts Assistant position, you must:
* Experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in a ledger management capacity.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
