Introduction to Role
The HRIT Process Analyst is responsible for capturing HR demands and ensuring the translation of business requirements into detailed user stories and functional/technical specifications. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between HR stakeholders and technology solutions, ensuring that business processes are optimized and aligned with the broader organizational goals.
Accountabilities
1. Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand their IT requirements and demands related to the HR Technology ecosystem.
2. Work closely with HR stakeholders to understand business processes, support in identifying process improvement opportunities, and capture/document requirements to be attached to a demand.
3. Ensure deliverables adhere to quality expectations including completeness, value/benefits, and prioritization drivers.
4. Position the context of the demand in the broader process landscape, including any impact assessment, and articulate requirements to a level of depth that a technology solution can be identified.
5. Develop a deep understanding of HR business processes and technology ecosystem.
6. Deliver process analysis activities in a timely manner.
7. Drive engagement with business stakeholders and platform engineers to define and deliver against requirements and prioritization assessment.
8. Follow the methodology and best practices for process analysis activities.
9. Proactively identify suggestions for process and functionality improvements.
10. Ensure that value/benefits definition is captured effectively.
11. Consider GxP/SOx/Data Privacy and broader process impacts.
Essential Skills/Experience
1. Degree level education (Information Technology or similar).
2. 3+ years of experience working in platform, project, or service management roles for IT within global teams, delivering and supporting solutions.
3. 2+ years of experience in business/process analysis domain.
4. Experience working in a globally distributed team.
5. Understanding of software engineering CI/CD processes, with awareness of the design and implementation of applications build, release, deployment, and configuration control management.
6. Experience working with JIRA, Service Now, and Automated Testing tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence, CI CD tools - Ansible, etc).
7. Technically competent and curious with a passion to explore, iterate, fail, and learn.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
