Sales Manager Position at a Dynamic Tour Company
Join our fast-growing tour company, which has recently expanded with the addition of two new coaches this year. We urgently need an experienced Sales Manager to help drive our growth and further our success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Independently develop new clients and manage the entire sales process from start to finish
2. Liaise with major Chinese travel agencies, our primary market target
3. Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies and clients
4. Attend trade shows in the UK and China to gather industry insights and explore business and partnership opportunities
5. Travel for business, including international trips
6. Assist the Director and General Manager in developing strategic directions and growth plans for the company
7. Respond to and manage unexpected situations or emergencies for tour groups
8. Recruit, cultivate and mentor a high-performing junior sales staff as a long-term development objective
Requirements:
1. Minimum of five years of sales experience, preferably in the travel industry
2. The ideal candidate should possess a strong network of potential partners or clients, including Chinese travel agencies.
3. Proven ability to work independently and manage sales projects with minimal oversight
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5. Ability to handle emergency situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach
6. Fluent in Mandarin and English
