Job Title: Human Factors Engineer-Safety

What you'll be doing:
1. Provide technical direction to engineers
2. Support the development of individuals and teams to enhance skills and competencies, ensuring technical capability objectives are achieved
3. Undertake assessments of functional design and provide qualification and evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety
4. Support the delivery of safety cases
Your skills and experiences:
1. CEng or equivalent level of capability, Degree in Human Factors or Psychology
2. Previous experience of writing assessments and safety reports
3. Experience in influencing and managing stakeholders at different levels

The Human Factors team:
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Human Factors team-Safety at BAE Systems. You will be part of a wider team of 17 professionals who strive for best practices and champion an outstanding internal culture. You will manage 2-3 direct reports at varied levels. The team operates across different areas of safety within the Human Factors remit, providing variety in day-to-day business.
