Accounts Assistant – Import/Export Knutsford, Cheshire based £30,000 - £40,000 plus bonus and benefits Outsource UK has partnered with a global organisation who are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will competently and proactively work to participate in all transactional activity relating to both sales and purchase ledger. They will work closely with the accounts supervisor and the finance director ensuring all duties of the accounts department are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. This is permanent opportunity that will be based in our client's Knutsford office and will be working five days a week on site. Key responsibilities for this role include: Daily posting of sales receipts for domestic activity, covering for export activity as and when required including the occasional banking of cheques Ensure correct documentation is received from suppliers and communicated to the customer as and when necessary. Utilise the systems to prepare sales invoices and process purchase invoices. Relevant experience required in this role: AAT qualification or relevant experience. Previous experience working for a business that deals with imports/exports. Sage experience would be preferential. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working within a transactional accounts function, ideally within an import/export organisation.
