About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in their learning journey. You will work closely with teachers and pupils to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional help with their learning
✅ Assist in delivering lessons and classroom activities under the direction of the teacher
✅ Support students with special educational needs (SEN), helping to break down barriers to learning
✅ Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential
✅ Help with classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
✅ Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources
✅ Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to provide tailored support for students
What We're Looking For:
✔ Fluent Welsh speaker - essential for this role
✔ Passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people
✔ Previous experience working in a school or with young people (desirable but not essential)
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
