Technical Operative

Purpose of the role:
As a member of the Production Team, a Technical Operative undertakes machine interventions and first line troubleshooting to ensure machinery is running smoothly. You’ll help make sure that the production plan runs smoothly and any issues are reported promptly.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing start up and close down procedures.
* Minimising downtime of equipment through the correct start up and changeover of lines.
* Reporting live data to Engineering and site managers.
* Helping identify and implement workplace improvements.
* Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
* Carrying out Production Operative duties when required to keep the line running efficiently.
What we are looking for:
* A good understanding of English and numeracy skills.
* The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
* Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to work tasks.
* Experience within food production would be an advantage but not essential as all training is provided.
Working Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday 09:00 - 18:00
