Are you keen to work in the community in a dietetic career full of excitement and variety? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic dietitian with 1-2 years' NHS experience to join our innovative home enteral nutrition team and develop their specialist skills and knowledge in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our team of specialist and highly specialist dietitians, dietetic associate practitioners, and home enteral nutrition specialist nurse support adults across East and West Kent who are tube fed at home, providing holistic care. Our adult and paediatric dietetics teams form the largest in the South East, working alongside specialist community dietetics colleagues in Oncology, Gastroenterology, Diabetes, and Paediatrics teams within Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics.

Main duties of the job
This exciting role will be for an experienced dietitian to provide specialist support to adults who receive enteral tube feeding at home. You will be fully supported, clinically supervised, and integrated into the team led by experienced dietitians to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge in community dietetics.
The team provides supervision and support from our highly specialist dietitians. You will have access to dietitians specializing in areas including gastroenterology, diabetes, obesity, and neurology. Training for dietetic apprenticeships and dietetic students is also supported. Your opinions and input will be welcomed and valued, with access to clinical supervision and in-house training opportunities to support your development.

Qualifications
* Registered health care professional (HCPC registration) / Health related degree and evidence of relevant post-graduate development at Level 6 / Evidence of specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice (e.g., non-medical prescribing; mentorship, coaching, clinical expertise)
* Management or supervisory qualification or experience of study
Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in area of practice / Practical experience in managing health-related projects / Supporting others (mentor / educator / supervisor) experience
* Experience of leading and managing teams / Experience with Microsoft Office and a variety of IT packages
Special Knowledge and Expertise
* Understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance relevant to care setting and its application across health care services / Evidence of continued relevant professional development and implementation in practice within the last 12 months
