Salary:£55,000+ Depending onexperience What you’ll be doing: We’re expanding our NuclearSafety and Regulation Team to support the delivery of majorprogrammes of strategic national and international importance.We’re looking for people with experience in one or more of thefollowing activities:
* Advising leaders at all levels on nuclear legislation,site license applications, and regulatoryrequirements
Supporting relationships withregulatory bodies and deploying interface managementarrangements Delivery of nuclear safetygovernance, assurance frameworks, and independent oversightcapabilities Development and maintenance ofthe nuclear baseline together with organizational changeprocesses Supporting the design anddelivery of nuclear competence assessments and trainingsolutions Implementing complianceoperating models for nuclear/radiological safety and development ofcompliant nuclear managementarrangements Preparing and maintainingnuclear safety documentation, including safety cases and associatedprocesses Supporting end-users withsafety case requirements Providing radiologicalprotection advice
* Promoting a strong nuclear safety culture throughstewardship and leadershipconcepts

The Nuclear SafetyRegulation team:
The Nuclear Safety andRegulation Department oversee the nuclear regulation forsite. The teamexists to provide specialist advice and services to the businesswith regards to nuclear/radiological safety standards andcompliance, development of safety cases and is a key part ofmaintaining the licence to operate. The purpose of this role is toprovide leadership, oversight and management of a team of nuclearsafety specialist roles to deliver defined work packages to provideessential nuclear safety support to major programmes of work ofstrategic national and international importance.
