Salary: £34,000 - £42,000 per annum + pension
Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer whose main objective is to support the running of operations by resolving breakdowns and delivering maintenance. They are also required to drive improvement across the site in terms of new machinery, quality, and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Carry out all maintenance across the factory.
* Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring rapid response, minimizing plant equipment and machinery breakdown time.
* Work in a clean and orderly manner in compliance with the Company's Hygiene Code of Practice.
* Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met and that all equipment complies with Company and legal standards.
* Carry out repairs to plant and equipment during production, effectively and efficiently either alone and/or as part of a team.
* Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) onsite while ensuring a proactive approach to maintenance and high PPM output.
* Manage Engineering time effectively to minimize downtime.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Multi-skilled with formal engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or higher, in an electrical or mechanical subject.
* Possess 17th or 18th Edition Certification.
* Proactive approach to fault finding, commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development.
* Practical attitude and team-oriented approach to engineering issues.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
