Available Hours/Pay:
Full Time 34.5 hours per week. Long shifts 8am-8pm. Pay rate £21-£21.5/hour.

About the Role:
The main responsibilities of this role include:
1. Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder.
2. Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the hospital.
3. Overseeing the day-to-day care of patients and the administration of required medication.
4. Providing nursing and personal care and promoting their abilities.
5. Planning, implementing, and supervising the provision of quality care.
6. Maintaining the required medical documentation.
7. Upholding residents’ rights to privacy, dignity, and choice.
8. Leading shifts and mentoring/supporting student nurses and other team members.
9. Familiarising yourself with, and strictly adhering to, company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines.

The main requirements for this role are:
1. Must be a MENTAL REGISTERED NURSE (current PIN number with NMC and experience in the UK).
2. One year experience is mandatory.
3. A genuine desire to work with the elderly.
4. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, along with excellent listening skills.
5. The ability to supervise other staff members comfortably and competently.
6. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
7. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
