We have been retained by one of the most iconic and established global Private Equity house, which is looking for an Investor Relations Team Assistant to join his London office. With a long and top-tier track record and a best-in class team, our client operates several investment strategies with local teams based in the US, Europe and Asia. This is a great opportunity for a highly organised, detail-orientated professional to work directly with a small and entrepreneurial Marketing & Investor Relations team. The position: The Assistant will be covering 10 professionals across the Investor Coverage teams based in UK, France, Germany, Sweden and Italy.London, Paris, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Milan. The Assistant will also act as a local point of contact in London for the global Investor Relations team, supporting team members with their client meetings while on business trip to London. Core Role & Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinate complex agendas, make appointments and manage the priorities of all team members (including senior and junior ones) Prepare client and internal meetings in the London office for the IR team Organize travel and accommodation in coordination with travel agencies Co-organize client events in respective regions (UK/Nordics/DACH/SE) Assist the team with expenses and invoices in coordination with the accounting department Process information (collect, classify and update) Relay information with other offices Efficiently communicate and learn best practices with HQ office in France, Paris Key Success Factors A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role Excellent English writing and oral skills Proficiency in French, Italian or German would be a plus (a strong command of French is preferred) You must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Primary experience with Salesforce Prior experience in top notch consulting firms or Private Equity, financial services or Investor Relations is a plus Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities and deadlines Strong adaptability, autonomy, and ability to reassess one’s approach when needed Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills and an understanding of the importance of client service in a busy environment Sound judgment, ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures, and work as part of an inter-professional team High level of tact and diplomacy and will respond to clients professionally and politely while creating a welcoming and comfortable environment Detail oriented, proactive, team player, works well under pressure, committed Strong sense of rigor and ability to maintain high standards in all tasks
