Description of Role:
Responsible for the successful delivery of projects from the handover to the successful production of the goods and ultimately delivery to the customer with products that meet all the requirements of the brief and to the required quality standards.
Ensure that the drawings and specifications are aligned minimizing any need for rework and a right first time approach to quality.

Responsibilities:
* Primary responsibility for on-time and on-budget delivery of multiple projects.
* Hold hand-over meeting with Production Manager if required.
* Deep dive into each project, scoping out what is required for successful completion from both a client and company perspective, including de-risking the project as much as possible.
* Plan, organize and manage work plans of the team.
* Manage project budget, resource identification and schedule, linking in the Production Planning Scheduler.
* Provide guidance and direction to production to ensure operational and technical excellence.
* Develop, implement and monitor design standards and procedures to meet customer needs.
* Manage hardware and software systems appropriately.
* Work with Production Manager regarding technical issues, training and other system issues and escalate to Customer Services Director if necessary.
* Initiate and maintain contact with clients for clarification, coordination and negotiation of critical issues.
* Identify opportunities and recommendations for increasing workflow efficiencies.
* Recommend best practices for solutions to meet customer business needs.
* Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
* Iron out any queries and/or issues in a timely manner and communicate any changes immediately to all relevant parties.
* Use company IT systems and processes to document the plan for each project and keep this updated and on track as the project progresses.
* Communicate with the client regarding any issues or problems, and also regarding the plan for the project and its current status, and work proactively to deliver an excellent customer experience from start to finish.
* Track project costs and ensure that these are kept on budget.
* Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as necessary to ensure that we have a clear picture of their timescales and have accurate data regarding products they’re supplying that impact on our delivery.
* Report back on projects once completed, including any issues or problems, and any improvements or changes required to improve our internal process.
* Perform other duties and tasks as required to meet the needs of the role and company.
