The WDHS Food Services team provides food and beverages for our aged care residents and acute patients. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, basic cooking, food, vegetable and sandwich preparation, meal service & presentation, general cleaning, kitchen hand duties, and meal delivery & collection. The Hotel Services environmental team maintains a clean and hygienic environment, and provide direct support services to our residents, patients, visitors and clinical staff. The successful applicants will maintain a clean, hygienic, comfortable and tidy environment. Duties can include servicing and cleaning kitchenette and basic food services, general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, toilet servicing, window cleaning, waste & linen management, infectious cleaning, cleaning offices, general public areas and some external cleaning. Both positions, the Food & Domestic Services Assistants report directly to our Coleraine Support Services Manager (Food Services and Environmental Services). WDHS food service team is recognised as a health industry leader, producing innovative, quality, healthy, and well-balanced meals. The successful applicant must be punctual, reliable, hardworking, willing to learn, have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team, and have a passion to provide a high level of customer service to staff and clients of WDHS.
